Marion County School Board has agreed to begin face-to-face, traditional instruction no earlier than August 24, 2020, while still considering when they will start their online instruction.
To make it easier for parents, and to remain consistent throughout the District, Ocali Charter Middle School will mirror the instruction calendar of Marion County Public Schools.
Therefore, OCMS will not start face-to-face instruction at our main campus until August 24 or the date the District decides (should it change).
However, the deadline to elect for your student to attend school in-person at our main campus or online through our new Ocali Live online learning campus is now JULY 22.
Plus, to help answer common questions regarding both our online learning campus, Ocali Life, or reopening our main campus, we have set up a special page to address many of the questions and concerns to help parents make an informative decision.
