Real World

Application

School field trips serve as invaluable relevance of classroom learning across various subjects. Ocali offers opportunities in the Fall and Spring semesters for students to enhance their understanding of content learned by venturing to places that provide hands-on, face-to-face interactions with their knowledge.

Student Handbook

Welcome to Ocali Charter Middle School! Our Student Handbook is your essential guide to navigating school life. Inside, you'll find important information about our school's policies, academic expectations, dress code, and student resources. The handbook is designed to help students and parents understand their roles in fostering a positive, supportive, and enriching learning environment. We encourage all families to review the handbook together to ensure a successful and rewarding school year.

School Safety

School Safety

Your safety is of utmost importance to us, and we do not tolerate acts of violence, bullying, harassment, threats, discrimination, or other efforts to make anyone feel unsafe!  Such acts are met with the utmost swift and strict discipline, including, but not limited to detention, suspension, permanent discharge from the school (expelled), or law enforcement.

Review the Student Handbook for specific details about school safety.

For your added protection, the school does participate in the Coach Aaron Feis Guardian Program, as well as FortifyFL, a suspicious activity reporting tool you can download to your cell phone, that allows you to instantly relay information to appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials.

Dress Code

School Belles Logo.png

Ocali Charter Middle School believes every student should have a positive and productive learning environment, without distraction from the latest styles, trends, or designs of clothing.

Furthermore, in an effort to curb negativity, bullying, or feelings of insecurity due to clothing, we have adopted a specific school dress code that will help foster a learning environment, free from clothing-related issues.

All students are required to wear the official dress uniform of the school, during school hours, or they may wear our spirit wear T-shirts with logo, ONLY on specific days when permitted by the Principal.

Plus, our dress code distinguishes you from other schools and presents our students to the public as the bright, professional, and sophisticated individuals, we know you are!

The only area of flexibility with our uniform is with shoes, in which students are required to wear sneakers or tennis shoes (with socks) as outlined in our dress code.

All uniforms must be CLEAN and neat when worn.

Violation of this dress code will result in students being sent home or possibly in-school suspension.
